How to Pay SSS, PAG-Ibig, Philhealth Government Services through Smart BayadLoad

As one of the provisions of the recently implemented Kasambahay Law, employers have to register their kasambahay to PhilHealth and SSS.  Good thing that innovative ways to pay these contributions have been implemented for convenience.

The country’s leader in wireless Smart Communications partnered with Land Bank of the Philippines to offer wireless payment for social security, housing, provident and health insurance using mobile phones.

Smart BayadLoad allows subscribers of Smart, Talk N Text and Sun Cellular to pay their contributions for Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corp (PhilHealth) and Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) using their mobile phones.

The electronic wallet credits have no expiry, cannot be withdrawn in cash and can only be redeemed for payment to an identified payee.  First time users have to register their SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG accounts via their Smart mobile phones to avail of the service.

An SMS notification will be sent to both the employer and the kasambahay once payment has been transmitted to Land Bank of the Philippines, the government’s official depository bank, which will handle all settlement and reconciliation processes and credit all payments made to each covered government agency.

Subscribers can top-up their BayadLoad wallets through Smart’s one million retailers nationwide.

Employers and their kasambahay can remit payments their through BayadLoad starting July 1.
